It's That Time of Year!

Decorating for Christmas is a big, family event in our household. No scrooges live here!  Graham was SO EXCITED to decorate for Christmas.  His favorite parts were hanging the ornaments on the tree and finding the Christmas stockings.  He had been talking about decorating our house since Halloween and the day finally came.  The day after Thanksgiving we spent at home (potty training) and making our home merry and bright.  Our firstborn gift from heaven got to put the finishing touch on our Christmas tree. (Loey and Tucker were napping) I'm sure it will be a fight to see who gets to do it next year.

Who needs a Christmas angel on the tree when you have one (or three) at home?  ;)

Memories in the making!  I love traditions, especially holiday ones!

Let the month of merriment begin!  Celbrating Jesus' birthday, Graham's 3rd birthday, Mimi's birthday, and the twins' first birthday!

My BIG potty trained boy!

Oh my word!  If someone had told me that potty training was going to be this easy, we may have done this months ago!  Actually...no we wouldn't have because I think our sucess with potty training came bc we waited until this little boy was good and ready.  I'm so super proud of Graham and how well he has adjusted to his big boy underwear.  We tried to potty train this summer and it was a disaster.  He just wasn't ready.  Screaming for diapers and just peeing down his leg on purpose.  This round was a WHOLE LOT BETTER!  Thank you to Erin Herrenbruck for some great potty training tips and ideas.  =)

Here is a picture of Graham in his LAST diaper!  (Night before potty training begun)

Graham picking out his favorite pair of big boy underwear to wear in the morning.

And the winner is...Thomas the Train!

Adam and I are getting hopeful...this might actually work?!

Graham's outfit for the day as we trained. Notice the underwear he is wearing was the not the underwear he picked out  ;)  Only 2 accidents on day 1 and this boy had it down!

Only 1 accident on Day 2!  And by Day 3 our boy was peeing and pooping in the toilet like a big boy.  We even felt brave enough to visit the mall on Day 2, and church and the circus on Day 3.  The book we read recommended not going anywhere for 3 days, but our little guy just had it down.  We had to document the moment that our son did #2 in the toilet.  Hooray for a sucker!  This might be TMI, but Graham now tells me I get a sucker after I go #2.  hahaha

Potty Training was a success!  We started the day after Thanksgiving and spent the day at home decorating for Christmas.  It was a wonderful day!  A very PROUD day for this Mommy.  My baby is really not a baby anymore.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We started out Thanksgiving by celebrating a week early at Mimi's house.  I'm a fan of spreading out the Thanksgiving festivities so actual Thanksgiving day isn't too crazy.  I love living in Evansville and being able to see family from both sides of the family for the holidays.

 There's Graham, hamming it up!

Graham has entered a LOUD phase and everyone at our table was probably regretting their seat choice once he got revved up!

Thanksgiving Day 2011
Nothing says Thanksgiving better than zebra print...or so my mom says.

Thanksgiving at Gigi and Gpas house

I'm so thankful for my children this year, but more than anything I'm thankful for my husband!  He truly is a gift to me and being a parent to our three blessings would be imaginable without him.  He has grown leaps and bounds this year in his business and I've watched him blossom into such a great Daddy and husband.  I'm so proud of him!  Too much to be thankful for...I feel blessed.

Happy 30th Birthday Adam!

Like...we had, like, a TOTALLY rad 80s party for my hot hubby.  ;)

Loey was a huge fan of my 80s outfit.  Every time she saw me, she would smile and clap.

Channeling my best Madonna look.

Oh man...That's my hubby folks!

Nothing like having a party in your parents basement while they are out of town.  It felt like the 80s (or 90s)...haha!

 The crew

I can't believe we are 30! I mean, we live in a house, have 3 kids, we have jobs (yes, being a stay at home mom is a job and a privilege), so I guess that sounds like 30 years old.  It's just strange.  I'm excited for the rest of our 30s. It's going to be an exciting adventure with our kids and I'd choose to be with no other person.  Adam, you are my best friend and I love that we can still rock an 80s party together.  I'm so proud of you, babe!  Happy birthday.  =)

I.Love.This.Boy.

I can't believe my sweet, first baby boy is going to be 3 years old in just 2 weeks!  Words can't express my love for this curly-headed gem.

Silliness oozes out of him and makes me laugh daily!

That smile melts my heart and I want to snuggle him forever.

These toddler days are hard but I know they are short and won't last forever.  You better believe I will look back on these days when he is off to college and yearn for the sweet times with my Graham.

Happy Fall, Ya'll!

We try to take pictures outside when our one tree changes color!  I love our tree.  =)
But I love my Tucker James more!!!!

10 months old and doing so well!

Loey and Mommy are buddies!

Loey, I hope you always look at me with love in your eyes!

The twins were big fans of the leaves.  I think they only ate one or two.  ;)

What wonderful boys!!! I love these two Hubert men!

We've got spirit, yes we do!

We've got spirit, how about you???
Colts may be struggling this season, but we don't care!  True blue fans!  ;)

This fan is a little scary...Colts might need him on their defensive line.

Someone is SO over this photo shoot!

Go Colts!  Maybe you could win ONE game this season???
