Florida!

OK!!! Finally getting to posting some pics from FL. We took so, so many of Graham, it's not even funny. =) I, of course, love them all though! We had an excellent trip to Siesta Key with my in-laws and sister in law. Who doesn't love going to FL with 5 adults and only 1 baby? Good odds for Graham, that's for sure. He was spoiled with lots of love and attention. I know Graham is one blessed little boy to have so many family members who love him to pieces.

This is the "garage sale" area of the condo (we liked to call it that-can you guess why?) Stuff plopped everywhere!!!

The only people in this room of the restarant "Sugar and Spice". We were laughing because we had called and made a reservation! ha

Graham loves to be a big boy in everything he does these days. He's pretty good at eating on his own with a spoon. BIG BITE!

This picture CRACKS ME UP! It shows the silly-giddy side of Graham that has recently shown up in full force. Full of silly bones!

Laughing HYSTERICALLY as Daddy and Aunt Laura threw the football! Belly laughs are pure joy.

My big toddler on the beach. Sigh. Love him!

Pop, Graham, and Mimi

One of the many trip to look at the ocean with Pop.

Mr. Cool in his Toy Story chair, eating snacks, and wearing Mommy's glasses. One of his favorite things to do on the beach!

Never seen a cuter oyster...

A whole family of oysters!!!

Graham climbing on the alligator with the big boys! Graham thinks he is just as big and loves to "talk" to them. So cute.

Daddy, Graham and the alligator!

Day 1 (HELLO WHITE SKIN) of the lotion train.

Me and my buddy exploring the beach.

I love that he holds out hands now.

Graham being silly- wearing his sleep sack like a cape and sitting in his chair.

I wish we could have taken home this recliner. He loved it! chilling before bedtime.
Vacation with family is a special time! Feeling blessed to have a wonderful family and a hard working husband.

Pee, pee, pee

Graham, hiding his face in shame....(not really, he just LOVES to put pajamas on his face and walk around. Seriously)

Well...so Graham peed on his only green shirt yesterday, so alas we don't have any St Patrick's Day pics to share. BUT, I do have a funny story to tell!

All about pee these days...the boy loves drinks!

Adam gave Graham his bath 2 nights ago and afterwards Graham wanted to come find me, so Adam let him down and he was naked! We don't often let him run around naked because of the "pee fear" but that night we did. He usually pees in the bathtub so we thought it was out of his system. Nope. He was playing in the family room, and got into his plastic little tikes car. We thought he'd hate it because of the cold plastic, but wild horses can't drag him away from that car. He stood up and froze with the door covering up his little man parts and we hear that distinct "pssssss" sound that you parents with toddlers know. It was our first pee on the carpet incident, but we knew right away what had happened. Graham looked up at us in shock and said, "UH OH" super loud! We lost it- no hiding our laughter at that one! So hopefully he won't start peeing everytime he is diaperless just to make us laugh.

Graham had his 15 months checkup yesterday and he is 24 lbs and 33 in, which translates to about the 48th percentile in weight and the 80th percentile in height! Dr. Cochran said he is healthy as can be! He was also impressed that he is saying words that have "s" and "k" sounds in them. He said that means he has nice clear tubes in his ears because those are high pitched sounds and hard to hear. Good boy. He did think it was funny that he won't say simple words like ball, but rather trash. =) That's my boy.

We are heading to FL tonight! SUPER EXCITED to spend a week in Siesta Key with the Hubert family. Wish us luck in the car for 7 hours today and 7 more tomorrow!!! Barney videos anyone? I checked out a Wiggles video from the library too (just to make Adam mad).

New Things

Well, a "new" thing for this boy is that we are downsizing the amount of time he is allowed to have his passy. He wanted it a lot when he was sick and he got used to having it whenever he wanted. Now we are back down to just sleeping or when in a restaurant. So far so good! During the daytime he asks for his passy outside his crib, so I ask him if he wants to go night-night and he says no and gives up on the passy until naptime. =)

Graham went to Ezra's first birthday party a week or so ago and he loved the Cozy Coupe car he got for his birthday! My parents dug our old one out of their attic and are keeping it at their house for fun, so we decided Graham would love to have a car of his own here at home.

It was a big hit! He's riding it all over the house right now until it gets warm enough to be able to go outside more. He is ADDICTED to being outside since this is his first season of being able to walk around outside. The grass fascinates him. =)

Gigi celebrated her birthday with us by going to Nagasaki for dinner and then had some donut bank cake at our house the next day. Yum!

Happy birthday Gigi! I love you!

Gigi also brought over an antique cabinet that I used to play with at my grandparents house. It is full of antique toy plates, utensils, and random kitchen items (including rubber fries and onion rings). He loves it! We think we will be finding these items all over the house soon. Although, he is very into cleaning and picking things up, so hopefully he will be tidy with his kitchen!

We love watching our little boy play and discover new things. He is such a curious little person. I am positive that he will continue to surprise us with his personality and love for funny things.
Graham turned 15 months old on the 11th and he seems like he is every bit toddler now. He attempts to try and dress himself, eat with a fork and spoon, brush his hair and teeth, and do most everything we normally do for him. He likes to say "truck, dirt, and clock" this week. He is NOT a fan of getting his diaper changed. Just doesn't like to be tied down and not playing. He is also funny about baths- he really enjoys them but doesn't really like his hair being washed. So once that part is over, all is well. The excitement he shows over building towers, eating blueberries, playing outside, and reading books is contagious! He can bring me joy like no other. He can also bring moments of frustration as he lays on the floor kicking his legs and crying because I won't let him play in the rain outside. He's a passionate kid and I think that translates into extremes on both ends. So much joy and so much drama. =) BUT I love my little mister with a fierceness that grows and grows and thank God for him everyday!

Feel the wind in my hair!

It was a beautiful day! Graham's first day to play outside in the sunshine in a long time! He was a fan of walking on the grass.

Posing for Mommy by the fence

Haircut? Who needs a haircut? "Not me" says Mr. Fluff.

Mommy's BIG BOY! He got to sit in a car, watch Elmo and wear a cape for his first real big boy haircut. Now the back of his hair is super curly! Don't worry- the lady flattened down the top, but after bathtime- curls are back! =)
