Blondies

Loey Kate and Tucker James...
the little loves of my heart!

Oh it's good to have a buddy, it's even better when that buddy is your womb-mate!

Twins DO run in the family. =)

Pregnancy: It's been a big journey for my sister in law and her husband!  And it's something we finally get to CELEBRATE with them!  They are PREGNANT...with TWINS!  So now, I do get to say that twins "run in the family", hehe.  We had a special dinner at our house to show them how much we love them and are excited to watch them be parents to these two little blessings.  They will be my first nieces/nephews.  I'm also going to die of impatience as they are going to wait to find out the sex of the babies.  I can't wait to meet you both in April, little miracle babies!!!

Here are some pics of my munchkins enjoying our backyard with Mimi and Pop's doggie, Annie. We got the babysit her while they were in Indy for the Colts game.

Sometimes I wonder if Chris Farley's hair is making a come back with my child.  Waiting for her hair to start growing BACKWARDS rather than straight in her eyes.

Graham is a little fearful of Annie jumping on him, but he is getting better!  He always says his "dream dog" would be a hot-dog dog (weiner dog).

Like Mother Like Daughter

Don't mess with this Mama.
There are no words...don't ask.  =)

Love that face!  We call it her "old lady" face (she scrunches it up more for the old lady look)  Loey and I might be as girly as they come, but we can kick it in camo, right?!

Twinsies!

"Two to Love"

There's two to wash, there's two to dry,
There's two who argue, there's two who cry.
One's in the mud having a ball,
The other holds a crayon, another marked wall.
Some days seem endless, my patience grows thin.
Why was I chosen to be a mother of twins?
The answer comes clear at the end of the day,
As I tuck them in bed and to myself I say,
There's two to kiss, there's two to hug,
And best of all, there's two to love.
-Lenore Johnson

Thank you God for my twins!

Having twins has been such a ride!  There are many things about twins that are just plain difficult, but they are so many wonderful things too!  They truly are buddies.  They hardly ever cry when we leave them at church or Mother's Morning Out...why would they?  They get to stay with their best friend.  They share a room, they share drinks, snacks, and books.  They fight over toys but they really do love each other.  I just love when they do "twinsie" things, like lay on the floor together or chase each other around the room and end up giggling on the floor after wrestling.  Whenever we drop Graham off at preschool, they run back to the van together and climb in the two back car seats next to one another.  They ask about each other when the other one is still napping and readily give hugs and kisses to the other one.  I love watching their bond grow!  I'm interested to see how life plays out for them and their relationship.  They are SO different in personality.  Will they be in the same friend group in high school?  Will they always look out for one another?  I pray they will always be the first one to encourage or uplift the other one.  Buddies for life.  =)

Date with Graham/Splash Park Fun

Graham just loves fairs and festivals!  We decided to take Graham to the 4H fair without the twins.  He loved every minute! It was hot but that didn't stop this boy from riding most of the rides for his age group.

He remembered the "rollercoaster" from last year and was brave enough to ride it again!

Carousels are always fun.  =)  Daddy was nice and rode it with him while Mommy sat for a minute.

 I love my boys!

That weekend we also headed to the Boonville Splash Park for a Mother's of Multiples Family playdate.  It was our first visit there, but we had a blast!  It took several minutes for my kids to warm up to the idea but they were running and jumping in the water soon enough.  (Well Graham was...Tucker was still a little leary of water in his face)

This was Loey's first day with pig tails!!! SO cute.  =)  I can't wait for her hair to really grow in so we can fix it with braids and fun do's.

Pigtail shot!

Can you find Loey?  A friend of ours had her twin girls there in the same swim suit! They looked like triplets!!!

We had a fun summer!
