Disney World with the Girls

We took a girls weekend to go and see my friend, Cheryl, perform in Cirque De Solei.  It was so much fun and my first trip away from my kids.  Ever.  Did I say MUCH NEEDED?  Adam was a champ and took care of the kids at home by himself. He was a rockstar and that's why I felt so comfortable leaving them at home with him.  He's an amazing Daddy and a loving husband.  So blessed to have the opportunity!  My mom deserves major props too for her generosity and planning of the trip.  Becky was unable to go, but Anna met us down in Orlando.

After Mom and I arrived to our Port Orleans hotel at Disney World, we took the water taxi to Downtown Disney.  Nothing like dinner at Wolfgang Puck before seeing Cirque De Solei! 

The fabulous, Cheryl Sanders!  A good friend from high school who is now living her dream by performing as "The Cleaning Lady" in La Nouba in Downtown Disney.  Such a cool job!  She's wonderful!

The next day we headed to Animal Kingdom first.  After a brief bout of morning sickness we were off and running to get fast passes for rides.  I love this tree at Animal Kingdom!  So cool.

Um...dinner was AMAZING at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Maybe the best meal I've ever had bc of all the different foods we got to try?!  Boma- Flavors of Africa- HIGHLY recommend it!

Anna and I had to make Mom eat breakfast at our hotel before we left for Hollywood Studios.  No repeat morning sickness without eating!  Silly times...

Anna and my mom rode on the Hollywood Tower of Terror (I was jealous) while I went to the Beauty and the Beast show. Actually, I think I got the better deal!  Such a good show and I got to browse around Hollywood Studios by myself for an hour.  One of my favorite parts of the trip...alone time!

A marshmallow turkey leg?  YES PLEASE!  Everything at Disney really is tastier than anywhere else...

We ended our day at Epcot.  It was a whirlwind trip but so worth it. 

My legs and feet were about to fall off by bedtime but it was a good exhaustion.  I can't wait to take my whole family there with me someday.  I'm thinking when most kids are potty trained?!  =)

Mimi got a puppy!

Introducing...Annie!  The newest member of the Hubert clan.  Joyce (Mimi) got a huge surprise for her anniversary/Mother's day.  Dave took her up to Indy and surprised her by letting her pick out a mini golden/doodle.  Here is the prize pup.  =)

My kids were thrilled!  I'm happy too- a puppy that I get to love on but don't have to take care of.  Perfect.  =)  We have enough pee and poo to take care of around here for a while.

Growing, moving, celebrating

On April 5th, I woke up starving.  I ate leftover barbeque pork and mac and cheese at 9:00am. I knew something was up.  After running errands, I made a quick stop by the dollar store on the way home to buy a little test to rule out what I thought couldn't possibly be the reason why I was so hungry.  I put the kids down for their afternoon nap and went to take the pregnancy test.  Less than 2 seconds after I peed on that stick the test line came back positive...before the control line even popped up!  I WAS SHOCKED.  I started crying.  We thought we were done having children at least for a few years, if not for good.  We sold all of our baby stuff at a garage sale in early March!  Adam and I didn't think we could get pregnant on our own.  Graham and the twins were both conceived with the help of medicine to make me produce mature eggs.  Well, I guess the twins jumpstarted my system back into gear!  SURPRISE!  I had NO idea how far along I was.  I had my yearly exam scheduled for that next week to renew my birth control.  Ironic, eh?  I quickly switched that appt to an OB appt. Long story short...my HCG numbers were high and we thought that maybe I was pregnant with twins again.  Turns out I was just further along than we had thought.  PHEW.  =) 

So, on April 6th we moved into our new home with 4 bedrooms. Everyone kept commenting on how nice it will be to have a guest room, and in my head I kept repeating "baby room".  Whoa.  I couldn't believe it still.  The move got overshadowed with my preoccupation with being pregnant.  I didn't take one picture! I regret that!!!  It was a long day with lots of help from friends and family. 

Two days later we celebrated Easter.  It was a great day!

 Our family of five (with a bean inside!) Nobody knew we were pregnant yet...

What will our family picture look like next Easter?  Will we have a brood of sons or two girls and two boys?  Time will tell! Only God knows and I have full confidence in His plan for our family.  I am relying on Him to give me the strength to be a stay at home Mom to four children under the age of four.  Being a kindergarten teacher was just training for my own family! 

Dear God, could this child one of those laid back children I've heard about??? =)

I'm 31! 

 Breakfast in bed for this Mommy.  ALWAYS a treat.  =)  I got out of bed and Graham quickly ushed me back in bed. Nooooo Mommy!  You are supposed to be in your bed still!!!

I used a gift certificate to get a facial and a massage.  It was a wonderful way to relax on my birthday.

Packing and Gigi's Birthday

The Hubert family is alive!!! SO MUCH has happened between March-June and I'm FINALLY able to breathe a bit and catch up on our blog.  Expect a lot of random posts and pictures but I don't want to forget all the crazy things that happened in these past few months.

 Packing is fun for the kiddos!  OH so stressful for this Mommy! 

 I thought I would lose my mind when packing boxes during the month of March.  Our "junk" was in a go-mini storage unit and so we just had the basics left to pack.  I'm so glad we had packed up half of our stuff already. 

Gigi's birthday was March 12th.  We celebrated with dinner and a homemade "pinata". 

 Graham was in heaven playing Hulabaloo with his favorite people- grandparents and parents!  So much fun!  Happy birthday Gigi!  We sure do love parties.
