June brought many fun events our way. We started with Graham's first VBS experience. Our church hosted over 1,000 kids so it was a little overwhelming, but he had a good time. Unfortunately, he missed two days in the middle due to the stomach flu that was going around (that he then gave to Tucker and then to me). He made it back for the final dayjust in time to make a glow in the dark bug. =)
During morning nap for the twins, Graham loves to break out the crafts. Enjoy it buddy...morning nap time for the twins is almost over!
The Mothers of Multiples club went to the firestation for a fieldtrip. Too bad all of my kids were cling-masters and wouldn't get near them or the trucks.
My parents bought an art package at a silent auction. My dad, mom, Adam, sister in law and brother in law went to "Canvas and Conversation" and had a blast! We all had to pick the same object to paint so we picked fish (obviously). We decided that we could use the pics to decorate our playroom at home. We were pretty proud of ourselves, but no one was prouder than my dad. Move aside Michaelangelo...Phil Stiver just painted a fish!
He almost didn't want to give it up to us to hang in the playroom. We teased him and hung it up in their house on Father's Day. =) Now it resides in our playroom.
We will definitely do it again sometime soon! If you have never done this, you should check it out. A perfect date night or group hang out.
Our works of art!
This picture makes my heart melt. Graham did one day of summer preschool a week and he went on his first fieldtrip. This is his sweet face showing how excited he was to ride the big yellow bus! It was hot but worth every sweaty moment to sit next to him and experience it with him; one of the reasons I love to be a stay at home mom!
At the ghetto planetarium in the Evansville Museum. I mean, we were watching a slide show or film strip that I probably watched when I was his age.
